Vietnam Launches National Blockchain NDAChain for Data Security
Vietnam has unveiled NDAChain, a government-backed blockchain network designed to secure national data across multiple sectors. The system, developed by the National Data Association and supervised by the Ministry of Public Security, will authenticate records ranging from healthcare to supply chains using a hybrid centralized-decentralized model.
NDAChain employs Proof-of-Authority consensus with Zero-Knowledge Proofs, balancing controlled access with privacy preservation. The network boasts throughput of 1,200-3,600 TPS, targeting e-government and logistics applications. Built-in features include NDA DID for digital identity verification tied to Vietnam's VNeID system and NDATrace for product provenance tracking.
